You can continue to honor them, remember them, and share their story.
I find myself in conversation with Sam a lot these days, because there is so much news to share.
Today, the anti-hazing organization my husband and I created after Sam’s death enters a new chapter.
HazingInfo.org is merging with StopHazing, the national leader in hazing research and prevention. StopHazing has been our close partner from HazingInfo's earliest days when we launched in 2023.
The merger formally unites us to create a comprehensive new research-to-action pipeline with a singular vision: A world free from hazing.
Together, we will build a national hazing accountability initiative connecting research, prevention, transparency, and timely action to accelerate progress to end hazing.
The union of StopHazing and HazingInfo marks a strategic response to growing public demand for accountability in the fight to end hazing — a structure in which research strengthens prevention and transparency, and data identifies emerging trends and accountability gaps to inform students, families, and policymakers.
Instead of just reacting to hazing incidents, we will build a coordinated accountability system to end it.

I could not have imagined where this journey would lead us in those unimaginably dark days and months after Sam’s death. We are so proud to formally join the StopHazing community.
With this partnership, HazingInfo will continue to save lives and help protect other families from the trauma of losing a child to hazing. Sam’s legacy will live on in our shared mission.
