The US Senate is expected to take up a bill that would require US colleges and universities to make public all campus hazing incidents when it returns from recess after the November 5 election.
The Stop Campus Hazing Act passed the US House on September 24, the culmination of 10 years of advocacy by the families of hazing victims, StopHazing, the Clery Center, and many others.
Now we need our Senators to hear from us with a clear message: Support the Stop Campus Hazing Act (S.2901) to save lives and protect our students.
Please take 2 minutes right now to fill out this simple form created by our partners at StopHazing.
Your message will be sent directly to your senators and to Sen. Bernie Sanders, chair of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, where the bill is scheduled to be heard.
Then take one more step: Please share this link with your networks and encourage them to submit the form, too! You can also download StopHazing’s social media toolkit here.
